RE: Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles on PC?

Can someone please inform me on the reason as to why Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles never saw a PC release?

because they are on rail shooters meant to be played with some type of motion device. What console-based on rail shooters come to PC? It's very rare in this day and age. Both Chronicles were Wii exclusive for a long time with the motion controls but then was ported to PS3 for the new motion controls (at the time). The 360 did not get a port as far as I know.

I play both of them through dolphin on my pc.....The visual upgrade running it through the emulator at a higher rez makes them look incredibly good. Ive played both beginning to end and they work flawlessly.....other than maybe upscaling the textures theres really no point in a PC release. Just play them through the emulator.....deadspce extraction plays and looks much better to compared to the original.

Played both using Dolphin and works fine. Makes getting critical head shots a lot easier with the mouse than with some badly calibrated motion controllers and shaky hands.

I would really like these, and Dead Aim as well. There are some rail shooters on Steam already that play nicely with a controller or mouse. I'm sure Capcom could make it happen if they wanted to.

I’d happily buy the second game on pc again if they got rid of that god awful screen shake. I could barley even finish the second game thanks to the screen shake and have replayed and nearly perfected the first game loads of times

Used both mouse and keyboard. The setup I had was using the mouse to aim and fire (naturally) but using the keyboard for item selection and usage and when swinging the knife had to hold down the space bar to change mouse to knife form. But using dolphin yo can set any keys to what the Wii remotes buttons would be.
