You can try using it though.
The stick I'm not sure 100% about, but it should be good and using analouges for QTE's is much easier tbh.
Yeah Vibration does work by the way.
Not a good idea. X360 controller is better choice.
Matter of habit. This will have to work out, get used to.
Nope, QTE's (with stick on controller) easier on keyboard, such as releases.
Yep, it's work fine on X360 compatible controller.
However, when I play Mercenaries, I like to swap to keyboard for the super easy cheese aiming.
Like your previous thread, Controller+Crosshair+Controlled Burst Fires+Selective Shooting. It works.
I have an old Playstation 1 analog stick, but that should be the same as the PS2 one, except for not being black, right?
What's MotionInJoy?
It's a program that allows you to use a PS3 controller as a PC controller. It can also emulate the Xbox 360's controller scheme. When I play, I see Xbox buttons inputs.

Do I even need that for my old PS controller? A USB-adapter should be enough, then you can configure everything else in game, I thought.
I have a crappy old joystick I abuse as a footswitch for the microphone button, and that thing works right when you plug it in.
I don't think you can use an old PS1 controller on PC. You'd need one hell of a special plug for that. >.<
It's identical with the PS2 controller, just grey instead of black. Same plugs and everything, and there are USB adapters for that.
I suggest you just buy a new Xbox or PS3 controller. Even if you do get the USB plug for it, there's no garantee it'll work nicely with RE6. Just sayin'....
I just read up on that. The controller I have is the Dualshock I, the Dualshock II has pressure-sensitive buttons, that's the only difference. Apparently it doesn't work with games on the PS2 that use this feature, but it should work just fine on a PC. Even my crappy joystick could be used as controller, and that thing definitely has the cheapest buttons ever.
