How can i catch Ada Wong in Chris Campaing chapter 3-6

When chris drives the car in the final of chapter 3, i can t catch ada because her car is very VERY fast. When drives Piers, Ada s car is always close about 150 M. When i have to drive. Ada is very fast. You guys, did this happen to you? what did you do?

well I just drive and turn normally with the accelerator but I only use boost if the road ahead is straight.

I had the same problem when i was playing with a gamepad (Logitech Rumblepad 2). Try to play this part using a keyboard+mouse. It helped me out ;)
Also i noticed that the Quick Time Event sequences are waaaaay easier when you are using a keyboard rather than a gamepad. I think it is connected with a troubles in that driving mission.

Same happened with my 360 controller. The humvee slows down to a crawl for some reason.

This might sound obvious, but you need to ACCELERATE the car with the RT button, and hit A as much as possible for the nitro boost. I was able to overcome Ada's car several times during the chase, and managed to always keep it at a distance of no more than 40m from me. The AI is an excellent driver to keep her in check, but driving the car yourself makes for an easier chase due to being able to keep constantly close to her.

It's definitely a bug on the PC version that occasionally makes some goes on this extremely slow. It happened to me and a friend I did co-op with, as well. It never happened once on the 360 where, like you said, you're able to overtake Ada's car several times.

Again, might just be me being one of the few lucky bastards out there that have had absolutely no issues with the game thus far (except for a minor burp where the game was failing to save my data, so I had to basically "force" it to), but I did this part fine with my gamepad. Hard as hell, yes, but not impossible.
