Report a translation problem
This is the only camera angle which needs a prediction, others have enough time to correct your direction on response.
First of all, the obvious, don't let go of space unless you need to give a lift for Piers/climbing up with Piers' help.
Second, don't reload your weapon after clearing HAOS blocking your path, if you absolutely must reload, do it during the second time he blocks your path. If you reload after he lets go, you'll lose a lot of time because you can't run while reloading.
Third and most important: The camera starts to spin when HAOS jumps towards you and you're closer to the wall(outer)-side of the platforms, so try to keep running on the inner-side(the one HAOS clings to) and it won't spin as badly.
