Unlocking More Mercenaries Maps
I wasn't sure if this had been officially covered in a thread but unlocking Mercenaries maps isn't entirely clear. On the store page it says they unlock through "achievements" but that's very misleading.

In order to unlock them, it seems you have to play them in sequential order. So, since the first three maps are given already it seems you must start on the "Mining the Depths" map and earn an "A" rank on that map with any character. Doing so unlocked the "Rail Yard" map. A minimum of 100,000 points is required for an "A".

After that, get an "A" on the "Rail Yard" stage and another map should unlock. I hope that helps anyone who was confused about that. I apologize in advanced if this is already well-known though.

yeah just finally realized this today. had just been playing the first 2 maps over and over with different characters and was wondering why nothing else was unlocking lol.

Yeah, finally unlocked Railyard last night. I've since unlocked all but the last map. Played through each one except the last two with some dude that was playing some old funk music. Was kinda funny, breaking J'avo necks while Love Train played through the other guy's mic.

I'm not sure about that but on the consoles the third costumes were "Retro" costumes of each character. They were DLC on something called "RE.NET". It appears those have to be bought separately. In any event, it's not 100% clear how to unlock those either.

You unlock Helena, Piers, and Sherry by beating the three maps that are unlocked by default in The Mercenaries, with an A rank or higher, I believe. The costumes are unlocked as follows:

EX1: Clear any map with the character you want the EX1 costume for, with an A rank or higher.

EX2: Buy for 60,000 points each on RE.net

EX3: Unlock with tickets earned during special events held by Capcom for RE6.

To clear it up, EX2 costumes are recolors of the EX1 costumes, and have the same loadout as those. EX3 costumes are "retro" costumes, designed to look like PS1-era characters, and also have the same loadout as the EX1 costumes. There are no other costumes for the characters, besides this list:

Leon/Pirate Leon/Retro Leon
Helena/Sexy Cop Helena/Retro Helena

Chris/Ronin Chris/Retro Chris
Piers/Race Car Driver Piers/Retro Piers

Jake/Thug Jake/Retro Jake
Sherry/Schoolgirl Sherry/Retro Sherry

Ada/Chinese Dress Ada/Retro Ada
Agent(No alternate costumes.)

The secret character, unlocked when you have all of the above characters and their EX1 costumes, if they have any, unlocked, has no alternate costumes.

points are accumulated via ingame tasks and logging into RE.net daily. on the left side of your RE.net profile you should see "Overview, Partner, Records, Web Records, My Collection, Unlockable Items" Web Records is the badges & medals that give you RE points, and Unlockable Items will lead you to the page to redeem RE points for costumes & other goodies.

no clue about the maps, but no you don't need to be logged into RE.net, everytime you start RE6 it connects to the servers, and checks your content.

Look it doesnt really matter when you register your account to.RE.net.When you register there u need to LINK YOUR ACCOUNT WITH STEAM ACCOUNT.This is a must if you want you progress to be tracked and to get RE.net points. So when you link accounts RE.net will update your current progress and calculate medals and other stuff and will give you RE.net points. THis are unlockable items(Wallpapers and Art;s directors books(its just crap for re.net account..) https://www.residentevil.net/en/windows/items.html When you unlock costumes and so on they will be updated for you ingame.Other thing https://www.residentevil.net/en/windows/webbadge.html THere is this, that you can earn extra points doing "some things" within' RE.net site(Log in 7days in a row on RE.net,open this open that, get 1,5,50 buddies on(become friends with) RE.net and so on.
IN additional maps for mercenaries are open like all, just getting high rank in mercenaries maps(check on google)..something like get B,A,S rank(With some/every char/costumes ..and so on..I hope it helps.. Just google it for maps how to open.. First of all finish all campaing that you have with all characters..the open mercenaries maps and characters too(not all but some)

No they're included in this PC version of the game. Like I said, start with "Mining the Depths" and get an A on that with any character to unlock "Rail Yard". Then, do the same thing with "Rail Yard" to unlock "High Seas Fortress". Get another A on that to unlock "The Catacombs" so on and so forth.

Also to note, if you do this in No Mercy mode you will unlock the alternate costumes for both No Mercy and normal Mercenaries mode but NOT the stages. Stage unlocks have to be done for each mode.
