Leon and Helena Load stuck at Chapter 5 elevator

My screen is stuck at loading page for hours when Leon and Helena defeated the dinosaur simmons proceeded to the elevator part. Anyone have any solutions?

Exactly. Its just stuck at Please Wait... I restarted my computer, re install , restart steam, changed all graphics to low, switch to window mode. All didnt work. Wow....-.- this sucks

Nothing of it will help, trust me, I tried)

The only solution of some sort is to jump to next chapter (5-5 Tower Roof) via "Chapter select" option in main menu. You'll lose your overall chapter 5 stats and medals, but at least you will be able to finish Leon campaign.

solution to the problem, as some say, may be to increase the FPS but I'm not sure about that.

Really sucks that we have to skipp the checkpoint... but i have the same problem and it seems its the only solution.

I alt-f4'd out to go to the chapter select to go to chapter 5-5. But now that I've beaten Leon's story I'm missing 3 cutscenes in the collection. This is TWICE I've had to do this in the game and I'm only a quarter way through completing it.

But if we skip the chapter to 5-5. We will not get medal for the campaign, does it still mean we completed the campaign? Because only by finishing all 4 story campaign, will infinite ammo function be unlocked!

I just hit this bug too. I've not yet tried to do anything but it's obvious the load is stuck doing infinite loop with some resource it is trying to load.

I can not play Mercenaries when I dont have the campaign finish -.-
