Crashes, crashes everywhere. Help please!

I used to crash during the helicopter cutscene in the prologue, but when i set everything to absolutely the lowest setting (everything on the graphics setting was set to minimum, there is no more left arrow showing) i finally got past the prologue. But now during the first real mission, i keep getting crashes either during the cutscenes or right after them. Such as when leon and helena run into the man looking for his daughter, it either crashes durign the cutscene or right after, where there would be missing graphics such as no hair on head or black color objects. Also crashes during the second cutscene on the elevator, the cutscene blends together and then game crashes, complete black screen. What can i do to solve this? I've read on the forums that u can turn off aa or set everything to low. I've set everything to low and aa is already off. What else helps?

update directx from mircrosft and check for the latest drivers on nvidia or ati (whatever you got). I got the beta drivers for my ati card and the game runs fine now

Are you running the latest drivers for your hardware and does you computer meet the minimum specs? Also I mobile 660 is not the same as a desktop 660 for example.

k i've just got the newest drivers, i have a nvidia geforce gt 650m (update is 9.17--------). unfortunately the game still crashes during the cutscenes. it just brings me to windows and says resident evil 6 stopped working

Same here. I got an ATI HD 4850 and the game runs perfectly (50~60 FPS). Sometimes the game gets crashed and I have to restart my computer manually.

Woooot, finally working. Yup first poster was right, beta drivers are needed. look up what beta drivers are needed, and it'll help =D

im getting this.. it sux. googled it and couldnt find any help. i have phenom 2 955be 3.2g quad nvidia 460 gtx this game runs BEAUTIFULLY smooth in 1600 on high vsync on... then i get 5 min into the prologue and it crashes my pc. black screen. have to restart it :/ tried taking out usb controller and turning frame limiter to 60. same thing

now im about to try turning everything to low (such a shame)
here goes!

p.s. this doesnt happen to any other game

ok so... instead i turned it up as nvidia told me to do. everything is basicly max and running nicely with no crashes so far. just past the helicopter scene!

the only thing i changed is its now not running fullscreen so i can now watching the temps (i thought perhaps t he game was getting too hot so to speak and restarting pc. however the temps never pass the usual acceptable. guna keep at it and see if i crash!

yup completed the prologue with no errors or crashes what so ever. the fix for me was turning off fullscreen!

hmm you got it easy =D, i literally tried everything when it happened to me, tried eevry possible combination of settings. but if no-fullscreen fixes it for u, that's great. and yea finding the beta drivers can be tricky, i didn't know which one worked for me, i just know that i went to my comp driver's site and downloaded all drivers i found for hte comp and ran the exes for each.
