RE6 trainer safe with Steam?

Anyone use Wilsonso's RE6 trainer with steam? It requires an old exe version of RE6 and idk if steam has any VAC system or TOS against such methods of modding. Obviously there is a record of my purchase of the game but Im not sure that will be enough to prevent me from getting into trouble.

If you want to use trainers you should turn off Auto Data Upload in options. That way you won't be connected online whenever you start up the game. NEVER play with someone else when you have enable a trainer. It's too risky to try. You should be safe when playing offline only.
