this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke , makes RE5 look like next gen infront of it. They put too much work on charecters and 100% forgot about the inviroment around it.

Ye, the graphics in this game are pretty great (expecially the characters). But the enviroment needed more work...

All my settings are on full apart from Anti-Aliasing which I've set to FXAA3. I understand were the OP is coming from, the textures look like they set on normal and not high.

But looking on your textures, they do look low. You sure you have it set to High ?

I just played the game and looked around at some textures and I never noticed this but some textures are low quailty.

textures on containers coffins etc is crap in the game no mater what you do why ? because re6 is ported over from a console the nintendo WII
the same goes with re revelations soap canisters in a loundry (which you go throug in revelations) looks like containers and etc in re6 because re revelations is also ported over from a freaking console

it looks like that even if you enable every piece of eyecandy ingame and on gfx driver and use sweetfx

@supersam check those pictures again plaese :P and look at the enviorment and not on the character yes it is as "should" be on character and zombies and what ever mutations there is in the game looks just fine but when u take a walk in the enviorment then u can see that they had gimped the graphics on the enviorment because other wise the console would melt instantly :P

This version of RE6 was ported from the PS3. The Wii never had RE6

What I believe happen here, firsly they make the textures high resolution and then scale them down to fix the consoles. But in the PC version they just used the console textures, instead of working on the PC version to include better texture and a better control system that suits PC gamers, they just did it on the cheap and quick and released it.

There is nothing wrong with the game, its a great game. The only faults I can see is the control system (suits xbox gamepad great but alittle confusing when using K/M). And maybe the textures aren't high enought for top end rigs (cant really call it a fault as such).

When this game first launched its demo on the 360 I immedietly refused to buy it. The graphics were so below average comepared to the last game and others at the time it seems horrible to purchase for $60 as well as having to much gunplay (was chris in demo).

For the game and all dlc for just $15 from the holiday sale then I decided that it was worth a ride even with subpar graphics. So far the campain with Leon is kinda good but we'll see how the rest turns out.

Graphics arnt everything but with the huge discount in price you really cant complain if you bought it during sale.

-edit- Also helps with lower end comps to have a smooth 60fps gameplay experience. Thats nice for some.
