Fatal Error Message please help

I got that exact same error message, only way around it I found was to go to your Documents folder, the Capcom/Resident evil 6 folder, then edit the config.ini and change the resolution to something smaller than your native, turn vsync off, and fullscreen off, then save and make the ini file "read only", and then the game starts.
Then, once it's started properly, you can safely change resolution, fullscreen & vsync as you desire, it will stick for your playsession, but revert back once you restart (because of the read only flag, otherwise without the read only flag you'd have to manually edit the file every time you want to start the game, and it's easier to just have it stick in the ini file and manually edit the ingame options each time you actually jump into the game).
