Hi guys!
I live in Europe and I just bought a activation key to this game! On auction it said it was region: Europe but when I activated the game on steam it said its (RU+CIS). Is there anything I have to worry about? Can I get my account banned or blocked by this or lose my game? I didn't used any VPN's and It activated without any problems.

hello,

tl;dr - if you don't use VPN to play the game, and you can start the game from Steam client without errors - then there will be no issues and worries at all; never

what happened is that you have purchased a key for the game for activating in Russia and former USSR countries. in those countries Resident Evil 6 is much cheaper (15$ against 30$ for USA). if Steam allowed you to activate that game with the given RU+CIS key that means that Steam acknowledged that you live in region where such key might be activated (former USSR country, perhaps?). Steam checks your location via your IP and your payment system

so, if you can launch the game without VPN or anything - then you are completely safe

also, if you mind - you will be able to play with people all around the globe with no issues; I live in Russia and have the same RU+CIS key and there is no problems to play with people from USA, Europe or Japan (apart from ping of course)

I haven't downloaded the game yet but thanks for the answer. I live in Poland and I bought the game from different store where seller said it's europe key. I hope I won't have any problems.
