Can't make this game run smoothly
Hello, guys. I need your help. I don't know the problem with my PC, but I can't play RE6, it lags a lot. The same problem happens with RE: Revelations 2. Strangely enough, RE7 runs just fine. Would you, please, try to make a guess how I could solve my problem? (Sorry for the bad English, non-native English Speaker here).

Here are my specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60 GHz
RAM 8,00GB
MB ASUS PRIME B250M-A
AMD Radeon RX 560 2GB

Have you download the driver? Because the game have a driver. See then in steam. If you downloaded then I think your steam have a problem. I think if problem is, install again steam. (Srry bad english too xd)

Are you sure you mean lag? or is it more an fps problem?

And when does it happen? All the time? Only at certain areas? Only when a lot of ♥♥♥♥ is happening?

You should start with updating all drivers.

I didn't find anything for the game, but I will check again. If it doesn't solve, I will do as you say and try to reinstall steam.

Not only fps in-game, it's really slow already in the menu (specially RE:R2, it's a test of patience to even start the game). I don't know if "lag" is the correct word, but what I meant is that the game runs slow.

By drivers you mean my GPU drivers? They are already up-to-date. But I will check other drivers.

It sounds like a software issue. Other drivers could help. Older drivers sometimes work better for certain games. But it can be a pain in the a$$ to find the correct one.

I have updated every single driver I could (MB, sound, lan, processor etc), but it made no good. I tried to low the settings to the minimum, it looked like a ps2 game, and even if it got a little better, it wasn't a playable experience. I don't know what to do.

And according to this site, my GPU should be able to run RE6 just fine, 145 fps on high settings:

Have you tried setting the display frequency to 60 in the graphics options? I had to do that on my friend's computer to get it running smoothly.

I tried 60 fps and 30 fps, still slow. Gosh, how can an old game run like this?

I'll try to use my onboard graphic processor instead of AMD Radeon, maybe I'll have a better result.

Didn't work, as expected. I tried to disable the onboard card, but it didn't affect the result either.

Oh, well. If someone else has any ideas, I would be grateful.

GUYS, I FIGURED IT OUT!

It was a bad configuration of my BIOS. I had to turn off the option "multimonitor". Now the game is running as fine as it can on maximum settings.

Thanks for your patience!

Glad you were able to figure it out
