Why is the A.I defeating Bosses For Me??!!
I just finished chapter 2 of Leon's campaign...for the most part the A.I. has controlled Helena fairly well, she definitely does not get in the way like Sheeva. However what the heck happened at the end of chapter two? (Spoilers) I encounter the Final boss the evil twin sister, I endured cut scene after cut scene, barely shot her at all, yet she was somehow defeated, chapter over!!

Is Ada and Helena literally killing her for me!!! I only got off about 4 rounds the entire battle, a cutscene kicks in and its over!! Not liking that at all. Should I play this game coop if the A.I. is literally going to defeat bosses for me?? I'm playing single player because I want a challenge, I figure coop would be too easy but this battle was on auto pilot, Ada and Helena did all the damage, all I did was ran around like a chicken with my head cut off! Is this normal or was the game actually programmed like this?? Is A.I. ultimately going to defeat all the bosses for me?!

Actually napad and ubistvo only attack non infected / infected with enhanced strain. They will attack any javo / zombie / complete mutation in their way due to them blocking their path.

They prioritize "living" targets, but they don't care smashing whoever is in their way. That's what I meant. They could avoid hitting infected if they wanted to but they're just brainless and don't care.

Btw lanzagranadas, the reason that ı gave which was carla was infected with c-virus after she hatched from chrysalid; cant it make sense in your opinion?

She wasn't infected with the virus. Researchers just used some of the virus' properties to rewrite her DNA, but she was still human (as human as RE6 human characters can be). A C-infected should have experienced some kind of mutation after receiving that rifle bullet on her chest and after that fall (unless she had anti-bodies, which she didn't), but none of that happened. She injected herself with the virus just after that, or else she'd have died.

And even if she was infected since she was born, being infected with a virus doesn't automatically give someone the power to get control over other infected's actions. The T-Virus didn't give Nemesis the power to command Hunters or Cerberus.

Furthermore cant carla simply modify the g-virus part of c-virus as well as copy a neo-umbrella member's genetics for the strain that was used for edonian / lanshiang javos? They have the same face, hair, body etc. Lastly dont javos look similar to what would have happened if birkin's g-human plan become successful?

J'avos have repeated bodies and faces because it's a videogame and they need to optimize resources and recycle assets. Model variety isn't meant to be taken realisticaly, else RE4 would have like hundreds of Don José and Don Esteban.

Birkin wanted his virus to evolve mankind. I'm pretty sure perfect G humans would mean gaining power but not at the cost of mutations or intelligence loss.

Well she was injected with strain type 2 and due to this she formed a chrysalid; furthermore she hatched from chrysalid as a successful complete mutation with infected by c-virus due to her genetics. The failed complete mutations dont mutate either, once you do certain amount of damage; most of them just die. Also carla not having infected with c-virus automatically makes all those complete mutations not having infected with c-virus. Plus yeah like you said she probably injected herself with enhanced strain extra during / after she fell.

You dont encounter cerberus in raccoon city. You encounter zombie dogs that's been created accidentally. Nemesis isnt around that much either when you fight hunters in re3.

Lastly how can a t-103 that's been infected with NE-α parasite can control creatures that's only infected with t-virus? Nemesis is made to hunt down stars members, that's all. Carla only robbed j'avo of their free will and made them follow her orders, she has a phone as well so she can call and tell them that a doppelganger that wears red shirt with black pants is after her.

Not sure where the thread ended up but the AI definitely assists in this game. A number of encounters are beaten for me. Which is no big deal, it's the worst RE game by some distance even if it isn't actually completely awful in its own right.
It's better to have a COMPETANT AI partner than a brain dead idiot partner like in 5 who is mostly reliant on you.

She wasn't simply injected, it was a thoughtful and unique lab experiment. Just as special creatures like Tyrants and most BOWs are born, they're not created by merely injecting the virus into someone and then sitting and waiting for the results.

And she couldn't have been infected with what you're calling strain 2 because when "Ada" Carla was born the C-Virus was still in its early stage. The new Carla then secretly founded Neo-Umbrella and continued improving the virus after her rebirth, only after realizing what Simmons did to her. Hatching from a chrysalis isn't tied to a specific strain of the virus.

Nemesis was an example, not meant to be taken literally. But here's a more literal example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHM7ew6MLqc

2:23 Cerberus attacks an Ivan Tyrant.

That confirms (not that it's something that needed to be confirmed anyway) that being a superior and smarter creature with a virus doesn't give any control power over other inferior creatures infected with the same virus, because the virus is just a virus and doesn't have any inherent "master>subordinate" relationship unlike Las Plagas parasites (unless it's somehow specified it has, which in the case of the C-Virus it's nowhere mentioned).

The C-Virus takes away the free will and makes the host (J'avo) vulnerable to control, that's ok. But that still doesn't explain why the only person any of them will obey and follow is Carla. If the virus makes J'avo so weak-minded and easy to manipulate then other people should be able to manipulate them as well, because there's no mention of anything special Carla had to control them. They just copied the "infected obeys villain" gimmick from RE4 but unlike Las Plagas they gave zero explanation about how that works here.

Cause carla is the only successful complete mutation that's infected with c-virus and later on she modified the g-virus part of the c-virus so that infected edonian mercenaries / lanshiang citizens will obey her.( I didnt quite understand with " other people ", who do you want to imply as examples? ) I dont know how she improved the g-virus part but that's gotta be that part instead of t-02. The reason why ı said g-virus is g-virus matters a lot about a person's genetics. It rewrites the dna. It's gotta be told in re2 or in one of non-game material ı believe. The order that ı displayed the j'avo / complete mutation strains is kinda messed up. From first to last: 2, prototype, 1.5, 1, enhanced. I didnt list the others ı know. If name's are confusing for you, you can call them differently.

As for the video, cerberus attacks sergei not his ivan. That thing simply go to his master's right side and protected him. Obviously it wont stop just cause ivan is in the way. Also ı'm not trying to say tyrants can control t-virus infecteds. Cause c-virus is different from t-virus. It has t-02 and due to that it allows the infected to remain its intelligence.

Dont edonian / lanshiang javo have a hq similar to neo-umbrella variant? Cant carla additionally train them inside those buildings as well?

And even if researchers just used some of the virus' properties, she hatched from a chrysalid as a complete mutation. She's gotta be infected; before she even hatched from it, there were a lot of failed complete mutations including gnezdo and lepotitsa and those things are created when a person is injected with strain type 2 and hatches from a chrysalid. Also just like ı said, a person's genetics is very important when injected with c-virus due to g-virus part. Examples include nanan yoshihara and deborah harper. I didnt say chrysalids are only created with strain type 2, they can also be created when a j'avo takes damage. I didnt say tyrants and other bows are created with simply injection either. As said in re wiki:

For years, Radames did everything in her power to utilize her newly created C-Virus to try and make Simmons' wishes come true and create the perfect new life form for him. However, time and time again, there was only failure. She attempted the experiment thousands of times, resulting in such monstrosities, such as the Lepotica and the Gnezdo, but there was no successful recreation until the 12,235th attempt - the attempt that used Carla Radames herself as the test subject against her will. It was due to her genetic structure that, as Simmons discovered, she would make the prime candidate for Project Ada.

I know ı told you about c-virus strains but if possible can you list c-virus strains as well in your opinion?

Remember you asked about base majinis? Apperently plaga type 3 users dont need master plaga users plus they didnt lose their free will kinda like ndipaya which is "being fed lies about a fictitious disease and receiving a cure that is in itself the affliction of Plagas infection."

Queen Ant Report

I used my otherwise useless father as a test subject. However, as I expected, the virus caused a rapid change in his cells, triggering the complete destruction of his brain cells and body flesh.

Lanzagranadas, ı checked that file again in project umbrella site, translation from japanese to english says " his brain cells too were destroyed due to the virus' influence" instead of " complete destruction. " unlike in official english translation. Is it really a good idea to say virus completely destroyed his cells? Cause translation doesnt say " his brain cells were completely destroyed. "
I mean simmons' brain cells were also destroyed after he took damage but he didnt turn into a brainless monster until his recovery form when his brain cells were completely destroyed.

That's probably the biggest case of splitting hairs to sustain an argument I've ever seen, that at this point I can't tell if you're trying to be serious at all. What would be, according to you, the difference between one translator saying "destroyed brain cells" and another saying "completely destroyed brain cells"?. You can't play games on a destroyed PC, drive a destroyed car, play music from a destroyed CD, and you can't think with a destroyed brain.

"Completely destroyed" is a redundancy, since the word destroyed already implies way more than something just "injured" or "damaged" that could still work or partially work, it means totally broken and ruined beyond repair. Language isn't an exact science.

Simmons' and Birkin's brain cells weren't destroyed from the start. They gradually deteriorated (due to damage and going through different mutations) to the point they became brain-dead creatures.

Sorry for the confusion that ı made, it seems ı understood the meaning wrong after ı read the translation. Thanks for correction.

Anyway, what about the other question that ı asked? I'll stop posting any questions on this page after it. Let me copy paste it here:

It looks like ı was kinda wrong with birkin. He apparently still had brain cells left during his 1st form. But ı'm pretty sure he had no brain cell left during his 2nd form. Thing ı didnt understand is why did he implant ben and sherry embryo? He still had his humanity along with some brain cells, g didnt completely turn him into a monster that only behaves for instincts.

Also if you are interested, could ı add you as a friend? Your knowledge on re seems to be very high, sometimes ı might personally ask questions about lore that ı may not been able to understand instead of posting it in a public post like here. I'll also change my profile from private to public so you can see my profile.

Assuming you mean the 2nd form as displayed in this image: https://i2.wp.com/www.bloodywhisper.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/45185-235756-Gjpg-620x.jpg

He might still had some human intelligence and memories at that stage, but just very little, his "monster" personality was winning by a very long stretch at that point. 3rd form seems like not human at all, he even kills Annette at that stage.
