Why is the A.I defeating Bosses For Me??!!
I just finished chapter 2 of Leon's campaign...for the most part the A.I. has controlled Helena fairly well, she definitely does not get in the way like Sheeva. However what the heck happened at the end of chapter two? (Spoilers) I encounter the Final boss the evil twin sister, I endured cut scene after cut scene, barely shot her at all, yet she was somehow defeated, chapter over!!

Is Ada and Helena literally killing her for me!!! I only got off about 4 rounds the entire battle, a cutscene kicks in and its over!! Not liking that at all. Should I play this game coop if the A.I. is literally going to defeat bosses for me?? I'm playing single player because I want a challenge, I figure coop would be too easy but this battle was on auto pilot, Ada and Helena did all the damage, all I did was ran around like a chicken with my head cut off! Is this normal or was the game actually programmed like this?? Is A.I. ultimately going to defeat all the bosses for me?!

Unless you're playing on the easiest setting, the AI definitely will not be killing bosses (or enemies for that matter) for you. Sounds like this was some weird fluke at best.

There are multiple multiplayer option in the game, I don't remember how you set up everything exactly, but there is a slight chance you've disabled co-op for your partner character (Helena, Leon's official campaign partner), yet have not disabled crossover multilayer, which means Ada could have been a human controlled character, since RE6 automatically searches for temporal situational partners among people simultaneously playing other campaigns with other characters at the same time as you play your campaign. Not a lot of people play RE6 these day compared to when it was released, so chances of two players ending up at the same point while playing different campaigns are slim, but technically it is possible.
Or maybe you were just playing on Easy.

Also I would recommend you playing RE6 in co-op anyways since it's just more fun this way. If you feel like it makes the game too easy for you, just crank up the difficulty.

The AI is very random. If they have a strong weapon out then their DPS obviously goes much, much higher, but it's fairly rare for them to whip out the shotgun or assault rifle and use it for more than a quick burst or two. I actually had Leon fail one of his personal events one time because he just whiffed so many shots in a row.

If Ada luckily quickscoped Deborah's weak points with her crossbow enough times in a row, I can see that happening. As everyone else has said though, it's super unlikely.

Sounds like difficulty settings were rather low. Anyway, Deborah doesn't really have much HP, all you need to do is destroy her 3 weak spots and she'll retreat, and you had two partners at that section so it's very unlikely that for other bosses the AI will do the same.

Technically I don't think it's easier to play this game coop than with the AI, since when playing single player you can actually get certain things done pretty easy by using your AI partner to tank hits for you, they won't die or run out of ammo no matter what.

Interesting to note, I've seen the SWAT van in Leon's chapter 1 kill the AI because Helena happened to be standing in its path.

I do like it that not everything is scripted completely statically in RE. So things can happen.

I am playing on veteran and as soon as the boss fight started it's like the game was playing itself, I basically did nothing but run around and try to not get killed by QTE's! I'm going to start the 3rd chapter today but I realize this is not my old school Resident Evil. I'm going to just take another gamers advice and play it like a mindless shooter, ala Call of Duty.

I don't think that's a good advice. It sounds like a beginner advice. The combat system is pretty deep. You have alot of moves and it's much more fun and rewarding when you use them. However, you're right in saying it's not like RE 1 and 2. It's more an action game.

I would actually suggest cranking it up to No hope for the hell of it if you want a challenge. That said, there's only one other boss in the game that's setup like that. All the other ones require heavy involvement on the player's part.

Put Lone Wolf in your skill, and your partner will always wait for you to shoot

Out of the question if he does No Hope, but that's an interesting suggestion for Professional.

Isn't Lone Wolf just to prevent AI partner from reviving you if you enter Dying state?

Re6 is an action game first and foremost, but playing is like Call of Duty is a bad idea and a set up for disappointment. Instead you are supposed to play it like this:
