"Failed to initialize Steam" Error ( FIXED )
Every time I attempt to launch the game it gives me the "Failed to initialize Steam" error. I have tried everything: launching as administrator, restarting my computer, blocking my antivirus, shutting down firewalls, hitting my head against a wall etc etc

If anyone has any suggestions on what I should do, that would be very appreciated. Thank you.

FIXED

My friend sent me his steam://rungameid/221040 link when we were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around for a solution and I clicked on it and it worked. I don't know the technicalities behind the solution but I had a good chuckle nonetheless.
