A Fix : Cannot Launch RE:6 On Full-screen
I've been having trouble playing RE:6 recently. Whenever it launched, I only see flicker and sound, without visual.

Here are my spec :
MS WIndows 10 64-bit Pro
Core i7 950
Rampage II Extreme
12 Gb RAM
Seagate Firecuda 1Tb
Palit GeForce GTX 780 Super Jetstream
Asus ROG Swift P278QR (DisplayPort connection)

I've tried countless suggestion like for example :
1) going to nVidia Control Panel --> Adjust desktop size and position --> change scaling mode between "Full-screen" and "No scaling"
2) RegEdit to \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ContolSet001\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration\<this value is different for each computers>\00\00\Scaling and set the value to '3' which they say refers to "Full-screen"
3) Alt-Enter while in-game --> then set the game resolution the same as display resolution --> change the option to full-screen in game
4) DIsable WIndows scaling in "Display settings" as they say "some applications don't work correctly with scaling"
5) Uninstall graphic drivers and reinstall fresh
6) Updating graphic drivers
7) Verify game integrity from Steam
6) Disable TeamViewer ( cannot do this as my Windows doesn't come with it. Localization I suppose)

And tons others. So my issue still not fixed.
But my display as you would know has this overclock function to increase refresh rates until 165Hz. After I disabled that I can play full screen without issues.

Yes, silly me I didn't notice this happened when I bought the new display :steamfacepalm:
All of my games that do not have "borderless windowed mode" option cannot be played full-screen.
How did I know this? Because my Battlefield: Hardline and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has borderless windowed mode option and they launched perfectly like a full-screen game (it's not, it's borderless actually)

The one thing that is weird though is that in my nVidia Control Panel, even with ROG Swift refresh rate overclocked, I have set the refresh rate to be 144Hz, but the game would still override it with higher refresh rate. I managed to see some pop up notification window while playing with Alt-Enter, Alt-Tab button.

You can try above if it works for you. I'm just sharing this fix.
After reading around I highly suspect my DisplayPort cable is faulty, even though it came with the ROG Swift package. I haven't had chance to try this theory yet. This monitor should've supported 165 Hz refresh rate.

BTW, props for FireCuda. My boot times and game loading have improved significantly. I couldn't afford an SSD big enough for my primary drive applications, but am happy with what Firecuda gave me. So this is what it feels like running SSD... :steamsalty:
