I bought this game in 2015 when i had a sh*tty laptop that couldn't run anything complex. Who'd guess my first ever Steam game would last me 200 hours for £2.50

The fact that there is no FTL 2 is a crime against humanity.

Let me be abundantly clear in my first remarks on this game. It is a incredibly rewarding game to win in and it is not as luck based as some reviewers make it seem. I come from games like slay the spire where individual runs can feel luck based, but as it turns out... you, the player, are just bad at playing well.

It doesn't mean that you can win EVERY time on the highest difficult, but the game is never a coin flip if you truly attempt to improve. If you are a fan of micromanaging in games in order to improve your odds of winning this is the game for you. To be clear, this game IS hard. If you are new to the genre or believe that you are that guy, the game will turn you into mincemeat on even the lowest difficulty. However, if you are a fan of struggling, learning and seeing the fruits of your accumulated knowledge and experience turn into wins, you will love this game.

Lots of variety in the content, but it asks a bit of investment in the learning curve. Overall I would highly recommend especially at the price point of only 10$USD.
