Let's assume I had a working game I wanted to sell right now. Surely I wouldn't had to ship the SDK to customers. That would be rather odd to say the least. So I suppose my question is "How do I 'package' (export or whatever you wish to call it) the game for release to potential customers?".
It's not that I'm even close to ready for that but I am curious about how to do it and I'd like to know that it's possible before I spend countless hours making a game. :-)
There's probably no need to have the Tools do that for you, there's plenty of resource on how to do this for windows and what not.
That sounds like the foundations of exporting your project as standalone, for distribution.. lol this is great woh.
Even just to create a light-weight personal death match title (the university campus combat? our office war? lol) to distribute to your pals and have a LAN with could be excellent & not outside the scope of the clever beginner heh.
I remember once finding something like that in the Cryengine forums, but I can't find it. I doubt it would work on this version of Cryengine anyway.
