That helped, ty. Enjoy the award.
Well, that's part of why I'm trying to not buy any Ubisoft games here. Only used on console and no preorder.
Honestly, mirage is not bad but given what Basim did in Valhalla it left a sour taste. They made him unlikable and then flashback basically and trying to make him nice when younger. It should have been made before Valhalla imo. What I didn't like is that there are a few things that break immersion and it was not the return to form I expected.
Japan should have been a slam dunk but nope. Yasuke looks cool but it makes no sense in that setting and the other protagonist has an ugly haircut imo (too short). I think it'll be between Mirage and origins with fixed gear like Valhalla but only time will tell. I'll check pre owned on PS4.
Ubisoft prove disinterest for the steam player base anyway.
Valhalla is one of my favorite given setting but the power thing and basic skills (not ability) should come through narrative progression which would be tricky given how open it is (and I like that too)...
It's sad to see where it's going...
Sorry to hear that Assassin's Creed Valhalla is crashing on your PCs.
Please try all the steps from our PC troubleshooting guide:
Troubleshooting technical issues on PC[www.ubisoft.com]
Make sure you update not only your graphics card drivers but also check for ALL available updates to your motherboard on the manufacturer's website.
Disconnect any additional USB devices, other than mouse and keyboard for testing purposes (any USB hubs, headsets etc).
Disable ALL 3rd party, unnecessary applications running in the background, especially 3rd party overlays like GeForce Experience, Overwolf and Discord.

If nothing of the above helps you, please generate diagnostic files from your PCs and attach them to a support ticket for analysis:
Generating DxDiag and MsInfo system reports[www.ubisoft.com]
Also, please include the Ubisoft Connect logs that can be found in the Ubisoft Connect installation path, in the Logs folder - launcher_log, network_info and service_log.
The default path would be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\Logs
