Also, can you recall whether you've unlocked the Nidhogg’s Fate decoration on a different save file previously? If so, this might be causing the issue.

i checked my previous quick save from CLOUD which is from July 2024 as well as my previous manual save from when i finished the game which is from May 2023 and neither have that tree.
loading previous saves the game loaded all the items i bought since then, so i don't see how i could have an item, like that tree, in one save and not another when the game registers owning an item and loads it with each different save.
i don't know if anything can be done now though, since the tree is no longer available for purchase which means i can't recreate the error and even if it's fixed i can't purchase it anymore.
I'm afraid that Title Update 1.7.0, released on February 21, 2023, was the final update to address bug fixes in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. As a result, any new issues reported will not be addressed by the development team.
Given that the tree is no longer available for purchase and the error cannot be recreated, our options are really limited. Some final things I can think of suggesting are ensuring you haven't already purchased the Jormungandr Settlement Pack (as this contains the Nidhogg's Fate tree) and creating a support ticket so your account can be looked into: https://ubi.li/noA9v

As previously mentioned by Ubi-Mysterion, the 1.7.0 has been the last update for Assassin's Creed Valhalla therefore we are unable to guarantee that the problem will be fixed unfortunately. What you could try, when the tree will be available once again is to load a different save and test if you receive the same error.
