Nidhogg's Fate online service error
i can't purchase Nidhogg's Fate tree from Reda because the error says i already have the maximum amount possible for this item [0x70000d06], yet i don't have that cosmetic under settlement at all. anyone else having this issue?

i verified the game files and nothing was wrong. made a video and uploaded it to youtube showing both the error in Reda's store and item not showing under my cosmetics.

Also, can you recall whether you've unlocked the Nidhogg’s Fate decoration on a different save file previously? If so, this might be causing the issue.

i don't see how a connection would be an issue because a connection problem would affect any item, not give error for just particular one. yesterday i was able to buy Alsvinder without any issue, yet trying to buy the tree gave me that error.

i checked my previous quick save from CLOUD which is from July 2024 as well as my previous manual save from when i finished the game which is from May 2023 and neither have that tree.

loading previous saves the game loaded all the items i bought since then, so i don't see how i could have an item, like that tree, in one save and not another when the game registers owning an item and loads it with each different save.

i don't know if anything can be done now though, since the tree is no longer available for purchase which means i can't recreate the error and even if it's fixed i can't purchase it anymore.

Hi Zaichi! Thank you for the detailed information and for checking your previous save files. I completely understand your frustration with this ongoing issue.

I'm afraid that Title Update 1.7.0, released on February 21, 2023, was the final update to address bug fixes in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. As a result, any new issues reported will not be addressed by the development team.

Given that the tree is no longer available for purchase and the error cannot be recreated, our options are really limited. Some final things I can think of suggesting are ensuring you haven't already purchased the Jormungandr Settlement Pack (as this contains the Nidhogg's Fate tree) and creating a support ticket so your account can be looked into: https://ubi.li/noA9v

no i haven't purchased the entire pack.
ok i will open a ticket if the same error persists the next time the tree becomes available.

yeah i did capture a video of the error. i posted a link to my unlisted youtube video of it. it's in my second post. are you able to view it?

ok so now it's happening with Knight's Dragon Statue as well, but this time the error is correct in telling me i already own that item because i do indeed have it under my cosmetics, except that the shop doesn't have a check mark to show that i own it.

What you could try, when the tree will be available once again is to load a different save and test if you receive the same error.
