Arc Snotinghamscire ("The Tale of Two Jarls") - Quest "Old Friends" fails

I am not running Valhalla on Steam, but I am not going to Discord for Ubisoft game support.

AFAIK the issue should be game related and not specific to running it via Steam or Ubisoft.

After talking to Randvi and selecting the Snotinghamscire Arc, the region is greyed when selecting it on the alliance map, but I can still assign it to me and start the region’s quest. However, there is no quest marker. The green square icon does not appear anywhere.

I have been to Hemthorpe looking for Trygve or Vili, and I’ve also checked the cave-house in Snotingham based on tips I found. I’ve used Odin’s Sight to spot anyone, but they’re nowhere to be found.

All other regions in England are complete except Hamtunscire.
Ravensthorpe is at Level 5 (almost 6).
I’ve verified my game files and am running the latest version (1.7.0).
I’ve meditated, reloaded earlier saves, left and returned to Snotinghamscire, and tried starting the arc 5+ times.
It feels like I’m missing some obscure prerequisite, but I can’t figure it out.

Is there any side quest, prerequisite, or bug fix I’ve overlooked that blocks ‘The Tale of Two Jarls’ from triggering properly?

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with triggering 'The Tale of Two Jarls' quest.

There are certain quests (main and / side quests but not quests related to DLC) that will unlock Snotinghamscire on the alliance map. Do you happen to have any side quests that are still ongoing or have been accepted? If yes, could you possibly provide us a screenshot of them or list the quest names?

Additionally, have you already built Valka's Hut? (located in Ravensthorpe, Ledecestrescire, Mercia)

Should you have not built the hut, there are several quests in which the Hut is featured in:

"In Dreams", "A Fated Encounter" and A Seer's Palace"

Once they are completed, it should unlock Snotinghamscire for you.

Hi,
I have Valkas hut, I have completed Norway, Asgard, Jotunsheim, Svartalfheim, have been to Niflheim, but not done all of it. Also done Isle of Skye and met Kassandra...

I do have a few running side quests, but before mentioning those, I have completed Vinland, killed everyone in the order, except "The Father" about whch I have all clues but one.

This is how the quest for Sno looks like in my quest list:

Ravensthorpe quests:
- Breaking the order - as mentioned, only The Father left
- A new home - Ravenshorpe is almost at level 6, there is nothing to upgrade that I know of.
- Viking for hire
- A brief history of the hidden ones (got 3 of 6 tomes)

I have not yet been to Ireleand or France
Mastery challenge has started but is yet incomplete.

You mention three specific quests:
- In Dreams: Completed
- A Fated Enconter: Completed
- A seers Palace: Not completed. Ok chasing down that one however there seems to be no quest with that name. In case you refer to "A Seers Solace", that is completed.

What else?
