River raid: River Severn - missing 1 weapons and armor

I raided everything in River Severn 2 times. I am still missing 1 weapon or armor. Anyone can give me a tip? Thanks

If you unlocked the next river Exe there wont be more equipment to find. There's a countdown ?/3 items showing on the map debrief but I think it's a bug.

Perhaps there's a countdown bug, I don't remind it for me.

You can check with St George items you found, there's a full armor set, a sword, a shield, so 7 items to find, if I remember well 2/2, 2/2, 3/3 so 3 river maps (Exe, Severn, Dee).

To unlock next river map (so a fourth), you need find the full armor set, the shield isn't required, I don't know for the sword.

If you are really missing one item, you should be able do an exhaustive run to ensure you go over the RNG aspect.

Items should be in the big chests, except perhaps the sword that is a special case. Try make an extensive raid checking all locations, and try open all big chests even when your ship is full, big chest with an item can be looted even when the ship is already full.

Mine still 2/3 in River Severn and since I didn't pay attention how many gears I unlock... It's unclear if it's a bug or not.

Don't waste your time and move on to the Exe to find the next items it's a bug. Check advanced military camps with at least 2 big special resource chests you need assist to open.

I think its a weapon quest that unlocks later. there was 3 weapon/shields added later and i think one is there.

Forget it, it seems a bug but it should not stop you for your goal, unlock more river maps for more items to find.

I suggest you first check with care dialog options with Vagn. When you have found enough St George items or all of them (don't know what's required), he will mention something about more locations. Talk him another time to unlock a new map with a new quest for searching more items.

If you haven't unlock this, then you are probably missing an item. The best is check carefully all items you have, all are labelled St George, then check a guide to see the item missing and at what map. Copied from some guide:

- River Exe: Cape + Shield
- River Severn: Bracers + Trousers
- River Dee: Body + Helm + Sword

Sail around on the Raids, and don't get in the habit of diving in with your crew at every spot. You can easily park off to the side, hop off and go in solo. Take out guards and go axe to axe yourself to clear an area, and discover the names. Find the chests you need help with and blow your horn to initiate a raid while you're already standing in there and looted all you can get yourself.

Having skills unlocked to allow you to gather food from enemies helps in these cases to build rations if needed to revive any fallen you need to. Easy way to track down the gear that way. Go in, see what the name is, get close enough to pulse and reveal the treasure spots and what they are.

Then theres a thing of opening your inventory, hovering over the gearpiece and hitting V to show more info and it will tell you what pieces are located on which river. Also works for all the other gear sets as well not involved with river raids.

I thought it was a bug too with Severn and Berbhal. You have to complete all the quests with River Raid to unlock the quests for the 3rd weapon in each region.

However....

This is a quest breaking bug on Rhine. To avoid the quest breaking bug (you can no longer progress farther in river raids) find a camp called Katzenelnbogen first, then Fort Ehrenfels second. If you do it the other way around, it will break the quest line.

I think I get it now. Thanks everyone. There is a final boss who will drop a hidden weapon after defeated. Hence complete the map.

I actually got the same bug where the counter is stuck on 2/3 but on the River Berbha map. I have raided all locations, looted them, during the same single river raid, but there is no gear despite the counter indicating 1 missing. There is no killable NPC or anything left.
