This will only be my second time I won't finish because of crashes (first one being darksiders 3).
PS. I do not support piracy, but I have heard about that on cracked versions the game works without problems.
That said, I would like you to follow these steps:
- Make sure your hardware is not overclocked: overclocking the CPU/GPU/RAM is not as necessary as it used to be back in the old days and it is mainly done for benchmark purpose. Overclocking can cause system instability that may lead certain apps/games to crash.
- Clean Boot: running resource-intensive applications alongside the game may strain your system, causing crashes. Please close unnecessary programs.
- Corrupted Game Files: Incomplete installations or corrupted game files can lead to instability. Verify game files using this guide.
- Software Conflicts: Other software on your system, such as antivirus or third-party utilities/overlays, may interfere with the game. Try running the game with minimal background processes.
- Overheating: Excessive heat can cause components to malfunction. Monitor your system's temperature, and ensure proper cooling.
- Restore your GPU settings to default: this will make sure no setting is conflicting, causing the game to crash
- Disable full screen optimization: Having this setting enabled may cause the game to crash, in some cases. Should you need a tutorial on how to disable it, please let us know.
- Keep all your system drivers up to date: outdated software and drivers may lead to compatibility issues.
If you follow these advices, you should minimize or fix the crashes.
Should you still need support, please let us know the following info:
- PC Specs (CPU, GPU, RAM, Windows version)
- Screen resolution and refresh rate
- GPU Drivers version
- Do you use programs such as MSI Afterburner or Riva Tuner?
Please let us know.
Thank you very much.

what it keeps closing the game?
You spam with the same crap since the beginning of this topic, people are not helped by it and you continue to give a ♥♥♥♥ about us because you made money anyway...
the fact that i paid 35 euros for crashes makes me sick of this.. im about to refund for real
i did it on the commend
Valhalla still has unsolved crashing issues and your devs have abandoned it. They even posted a news update saying they would no longer be supporting it.
It was randomly crashing on my old PC - 10700K / RTX3090 / Win11 - and it is randomly crashing on my new PC - 14700K / RTX4080 / Win11. It randomly crashes on my friends PC and he is running an AMD 7800X3D and an RTX4080. Suffice to say there is no point in reporting this anymore as your devs won't analyse what is wrong with the game code as they are no longer working on it. It's an absolute shame you have abandoned the game only three years after release. I don't expect any new content but I do expect Ubisoft to either continue bug fixing or if you can't do that then remove the game from sale on both Steam and the Ubisoft store as it is not fit for purpose.
Its NOT crashing on my 12600K and RTX 4090. You have an overheating problem inside your PC case.
Techically RTX 4080 and 4090 is the same GPU, 4090 just more powerful. So if it is a game-side problem it should crash on my RTX 4090... but game isnt crashing.
Stop using false and stupid accusations towards developers. Change your PC case, reinstall Windows 11 and use newest video driver for GPU and IT WILL HELPS YOU.
And you have no idea what you are talking about. I ran two entirely different computers and both were having Valhalla crashes. Both computers run cool and do not "overheat". Both computers were running the very latest nVidia driver. I have hundreds of other games including the very latest games like Cyberpunk, Starfield, and Alan Wake II and they all run fine. Enough people have reported crashing issues to know it is an issue. You are not adding any value to this conversation for those of us with crashing issues in Valhalla so stop responding.
