Skill tree video bug
all the videos in the skill tree are in fast forward mode for some reason

most likely something in your graphic menu isn't set right or in the control panel for Geforce

Restart the game. It fixes it then, I have the same issue and this is the only "fix"

Is that "Interior Assassination" (i don't remember how actually it called). It's triggers that "fast forward" after "Confirm Kill" with hidden blade on* order member. You can disable if you don't care about that. This bug actually was never fixed from one day release.

Does it for me as well. I tought that was a feature.

It's slower than in the video, but a bit faster than game speed.

Nice oblique deer btw.

No it does not.
The bug is on multiple machines, not on a single one.
Usually happens after 2-3 hours of play.
I have uninstalled the game so can't help any further.

In order to isolate the Issue, can you also let us know if the problem still happens after checking the workaround provided by `AKQJ10 regarding specific skills ?

Just tried what AKQJ10 said but still have the same issue

The issue occurred after I finished talking to my half-brother, and he left. Then, a video played (I wasn't sure what it was), and after it ended, I noticed that all the skills videos were playing rapidly. I resolved the problem by quitting to the menu, exiting the game, and then restarting it.

I've done some simple testing and I can confirm that the videos in the skill tree becomes super fast whenever I "Confirm kill" or Assassinate someone from the Order of the Ancient and I have to completely shut off and restart the game to fix it. If I don't kill anyone from the order I can play for hours and hours without any video speeding up!
I can also confirm that shutting of "Assassination Sequence" fixes this problem. Nothing is happening with the videos after I Assassinate someone from the order with that shut off, but it still played the short video after the assassination even with that setting off..

Hi,

I can confirm that this issue was reported to the development.

After thorough investigation, the team was unable to provide a solution. When assessing the complexity of the issue and number of players affected, the team had to prioritize issues that had a comparatively higher impact.

As Post-Launch support for Assassin's Creed Valhalla has come to an end, we will be unable to roll out a fix for this issue.

Title Update 1.7.0, released on February 21 2023, was the final update to address bug fixes in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
