Due to Ubisoft DRM, any DLC must be purchased on same store as base game in order to work.
If you own Ragnarok for UC it will not work with Steam.
If you want your saves to carry over from UC than you must own that DLC on steam as well for save to be compatible.
This did not work for me while playing Origins. Ubisoft support also confirmed DLC would not be compatible between platforms.
I had game on steam, bought DLC on UC for sale. Ran game and saw the DLC was there in game, but it would not allow me to activate it. I immediately got a refund once I opened a ticket to Ubisoft.
So if its working for Valhalla, where you have base game on steam, and DLC on UC, but it still works. That is good to hear. Hopefully this is not a bug and Ubisoft changes it.
