Magnus Bruun whom voices male Eivor is also danish and compared to norwegian/norse their inflection is vastly different.
Point and case.
If you start the game again and look at the difference between the tonality and inflection between Eivor and Styrbjørn, the latter being an actual norwegian voice actor you should quickly see the difference.
Might seem very trivial I know, but with a game that heavily leans into emphasising the accents of the scandinavic accents, this is just lazy of them in my opinion.
Indeed.
And you are completely correct there.
However this is not 1000 years ago and they still leaned heavily into the different scandinavic accents.
But yeah, even if it does not make sense it still bothers me.
It's ok when someone have accent but not every fkg nps.
