+1, have some points. Well said. These antiwoke grift channels survive by manufactured controversy, if it's not a game, it;s a movie or tv show.
It's eerie how they suddenly stop talking about a product they were harping on about endlessly. It's a constant cycle. Right now they are on Paper Mario being woke.
As explained by the others, Mirage was not full fledged game. It was DLC for Valhalla that became bigger project and standalone game, but not to extent of mainline games.
Mirage has been a hit for what was it's modest budget[www.gamesindustry.biz].
Shadows will be bigger, marketing and sales wise.

Folks coping with invevitability of this game being success. Outside of internet, most folks not into these "antiwoke/woke" beefs. Just living their lives, and AC will sell well.
AC titles sell well, this won't be an exception, there's a reason why Ubisoft keeps making them in spite of you people saying it's going to blunder every single time.
It is made by the odyssey devs and they said it will still be an "RPG" so don't expect gameplay to dissimilar from the other mainline games
Why are you conflating hardware sales with software sales? OP just pointed out the observable reality that the Switch currently dominates software sales in Japan. Also where are you getting that the PS5 is the best selling since the PS2? Unless you mean the fastest selling, as it currently stands the PS3 was the highest selling PS in Japan since the PS2, with around 10 million units sold while the PS5 hasn't cracked 5 million yet.
Right, and after Gameplay reveal at Gameshow last week, excitement gone up, even with some skeptics. Game will sell gangbusters. Will a hit for sure 👏💫.

Star Wars sequels had horrible story writing, who said anything about DEI. There was not one moment in the sequels where i had fun watching it.
People loved MKReboot and the worst character was discount Markiplier MC being a ♥♥♥♥ actor.

Some of the AC community were highly invested in the game-style of the early games. They like them very much. When the game changed so much, they became upset. They didn't like it.
I love Odyssey and Valhalla (now that the servers seem to be finally working). I hate UbiSoft. Why? We are forced to have an online connection to start the game, and to use their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ platform, which used to be pretty good, but is now crap. I can no longer see the game stats that I could before, and that's all I care about. I do not buy anything from them directly EVER. My entire UbiSoft account is in English, but the store is forced German. That I have to be in the German store, okay. Buy why do I have to view it in German? Because any technical writer worth their salt can create a web-page giving the option to change the language, I've done it myself, but UbiSoft are either too stupid or too lazy. I have protested it for years.
For the people, who do not like the game: express yourself well. This game doesn't really have many "dark-skinned" people. What mental-♥♥♥♥♥♥ protests a female Viking as a player-character? You have to be completely uneducated for that. My people are a mixture of Vikings and Celts. Both of these groups had female warriors.
Getting to play a female is not associated with the gender-confusion movement. Don't let them make that a thing.
Gender-confussion, which has nothing to do with true diversity, is about wanting boobs and a penis at the same time, for example. It's about not understanding what your piping means. It is a mutilation of the idea that our gender-roles are determined by us and are no one else's business. I am the kind of female that I want to be. What kind is only of interest to my potential life-partners. These kids scream it at every random stranger passing by, because the universe revolves around them, and they think everyone else must be incredibly fascinated with their boring asses. No need to develop an actual personality, right?
If there is no god, who assigned these people the "wrong" body? The soul is pure energy, so it does not have a sex. You cannot be born in the "wrong" body. Please stop filling children's minds with this nonsense.
TRUE DIVERSITY: I am the child of a Vietnam Veteran born before he went to war. I was homeless twice as a child and frequently wondered where my next meal was coming from, let alone new clothes. I was beaten severely by my father. I was raped in the US Army, which I entered at 17 years old, after having graduated from high school a 1/2 year early. I studied a total of 10 years at uni to attain 4 BAs: History, German, Archaeology, and Geography. But, I am white and heterosexual. So, idiots do not consider me to be diverse. I, in-point-of-fact, have life experience and perspectives that are more hugely diverse than any of these kids, who grew-up over-privileged enough to have no more pressing concerns in their lives.
In point of fact, my life history makes me far more diverse than any LGBTQ+ person or gender-confused person. I would like to say that anyone is welcome to pick any consenting adult human beingS as partners. Not sure why that is limited to two. I'm utterly disinterested in people's choice of partners.
HOWEVER, most of these people grew-up in "typical" Western homes (as in the USA or Europe). They had way too much time and energy on their hands, which caused them to look for some way to be different, to stand-out, or to pick fights everywhere with everyone.
Grow-up poor. Claw your way up, then move to a ♥♥♥♥-hole like Germany and be forced to claw your way up again, because these arrogant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rob you of your life by refusing to acknowledge your hard-won US education, and you are too old to be able to study (back then, you couldn't be over 23 years old).
Once you've been where I've been, come back. We'll have a discussion about what TRUE DIVERSITY is. Because true diversity is having experiences and perspectives that are different than the norm. The woke people are the norm now. They are not the diverse people.
Now, that said, what the ♥♥♥♥ does any of this have to do with this game?? Absolutely NOTHING. If you don't understand how Layla got involved, go back and play Origins. Frankly, I'm disinterested in the underlying story-line. It is the excuse for me to play a great game, where I get to hide in haystacks and pick people off - laughing my ass off the entire time, free animals to terrorize the populace, or just raid military installments and monasteries. I gain less satisfaction from the latter, but hey!! It's a game.
To be a success it needs to sell well wich is clearly has otherwise insiders would off heard about it, even if the pre orders are lacking its not a complete flop but theyd be upset about it, to truly be a flop launch sales aka sales within the first 2 weeks needs to be less than they predict that would make it a flop in thair eyes
To a user or gamer a flop is usally if a game is bad or low player counts but to a buisness a flop is only if it dosent sell well within 2 weeks off launching the game
