I tried searching for a fix but nothing worked. One video said it has to be installed on C Drive. I haven't tried this as given the massive GB size of the game, it would be a major hassle.
Anyone had similar issues and found a fix?
You can try this...
How do you specify just to download or run Vanilla only?
It is working for me now. After spending hours troubleshooting without success, I simply clicked play the next day and it started. Good luck everyone!
For some reason doing this seems to "refresh" it when you attempt to launch the game, it should open ubisoft while doing this(may or may not ask you to relog into it, if it does, may or may not require a full on restart on your computer), therefore, linking your game to it. It's weird, but it seemed to work every time I used this method for everything I was previously having issues with.
You just need to restart your PC. Ubisoft Connect can not register your new game key if you already started any Ubisoft game. I know it sounds crazy but its like that everytime for me.
