Upgrading your settlement

So. I've very much end of the game, I have no story missions anymore, no monasteries to pillage, nothing. And still I don't have enough materials to upgrade my settlement to level 6. What am I missing? I understood you'll get enough materials to upgrade everything after you've conquered all England and pillages all monasteries.

did you collect the wealth? everywhere did you destory. all the breakable boxes. everywhere you find? not sure how else to help i havent 100% the game yet lol as thats going to take me ages. im also guessing you have the complete Edition. with all DLCS.

paris dlc has another 100 upgrade materials.

this game is whack. no good information at all when it comes to settlement. Some people have more than enough...some have little. to get rank 6 has changed. If you want to get r6set you have to do DLC if you bought it. if you dont have the dlc then you can get rank 6 through normal play. Its bs.

Oh joy, I need to roll against boxes and destroy them like in Dark Souls. Anyway, thanks for the answers good people, I'm going to loot some chests in most random places.

Physically walk to each of the buildings in the settlement and make sure they're all upgraded to max. You CANNOT get a level 6 settlement until EVERY ONE OF THE OTHER BUILDINGS is upgraded to max. Sometimes they bug out and don't show up as upgradeable if you're just looking for them in raven vision.

Check the list in your bedroom to see if it says anything is upgradeable, also make sure you didn't accidentally forget to build the chicken farm, that's a commonly missed one.

Another commonly missed one is upgrading the Jomsviking hall and iirc you have to complete at least one "river raid" from the base game in order to do that.

If you're short on supplies I can guarantee you left some back at the raid locations, zoom in on the map in those locations and you'll see the yellow spots. There's plenty of supplies and meterials in the base game to do it as long as you collected everything. I think I had ~400 extra supplies without doing the DLC content.
