Most new games dont have this.
They eventually will answer. However they did not help me much and I finally asked for a refund. By the way I did purchase the game twice asked for help twice and had to refund it twice. Unbelievable!!! It is easier for pirates to play Assassin's Creed Valhalla than for a fan to pay for playing his favorite franchise....
If you finally get help, please come back here to explain to the community how we can run the game on our computer without getting F....ed up by those annoying drm.
Sorry I could not help you much.
Step 1 Close Steam
Step 2 Close Ubisoft Connect Launcher
Step 3 open Steam with admin rights
Step 4 open valhalla game folder and rightclick the valhalla.exe
Step 5 in compatibility, enable starting with admin rights.
Step 6 Open Ubisoft Connect Launcher with admin rights.
Step 7 Launch Valhalla through steam.
In Ubisoft app I even have 'Steam' written under a bunch of games.
It either goes from clicking play button on steam to it going back to a play button after a few seconds, OR asks for a CD Key in Ubisoft Connect. I have 9 other games that have automatically linked from steam to Ubisoft connect so this is a unique problem to THIS game.
Not sure if me restarting PC and opening Ubisoft app then restarting PC again was part of it..... Just a mess.
