Shame it took them almost 2 years , but better late than never

I hope it means they'll add achievements to their other games as well, I know that all their recent games had achievements but it will be nice if they updated Far Cry 6 , Immortals Penyx Rising and all of the other games they've released

The fact that there's no branch that is currently being tested & updated makes me hope that this is an approach like EA did with Origin/EA App by implementing an API to automatically unlock Steam achievements if Uplay achievement is detected via their launcher,

So if this is the approach, the games themselves wouldn't need to be updated as long Ubisoft connect launcher is updated and could even be ported to all games that utilize Uplay achievements, like EA did a few years ago

Maybe it will be retroactive over ubi connect. Same EA done, when they released mo th ago.
