New game+

Agree, New Game Plus Will made Veteran Player back to this games, would be nice to re-start games full of power

I was very angry to find out that there's no New Game+. I just assumed it was going to be there... after finishing I couldn't find a way in the menu.

That's game over for me, there's no way I'm grinding that game up again with stats and gear.

Last Boobysoft game for me, ever. They are so out of touch with their gamers (almost as bad as EA). They don't care if you like their games or not, only that you buy them. There's no money in replayability, they want you on to the next games.

I went back to Odyssey after that. I'm on a maxed out playthrough now, and while there are no more player levels after 99, you still get skill points to put in Mastery Levels.

A consequence of this that I realized after finishing the Svartalfheim story arc, was that I then had the ability to upgrade my Mythical gear, that I thought was maxed out, to Divine (which I thought was only for special gear... like a heavy axe that I got early in game). It uses Platinum ingots that are only found in Svartalfheim. I wasn't even going to bother finishing it, but it was quite extensive and I paid for it with the edition I bought. It didn't even really give much closure, Eivor still doesn't f'ing understand what he, his adoptive brother Sigurd, and Basim are (though the seer Valka did drop some hints).

That's the highest level story Arc, and you CAN'T do it early in the game.

It is completely pointless for me, upgrading that gear, because I have no more quests (other than some raids that are also completely pointless now), and... no New Game+

I enjoyed some of it, especially the beautiful scenery, but the whole thing just felt like time wasting crap for me, I suffered a lot of "fetch" quests with arbitrary difficulty in finding "keys" to unlock things etc.

In a new game+ you don't care about upgrading gear and stats and just get to focus on enjoying the game... hence, my attitude and stance on this.

Hope so too because the other games got it.
But I guess it'll be the same case as with Cyberpunk 2077 ending up as one of the games on the market without such a feature due to build complexity and having to balance everything accordingly.
It's just stupid still because what can you do with all that gear you get at the end of the game.
