How to catch fireflies?

I‘m trying to collect them, but they are to fast for just running! And with the horse it takes to long to get off it to catch it. Does anyone have a tip for me, please? Thanks!

If you having that much trouble you could try collecting them when you have the Blinding Rush ability(slows down time).

I found one and after a few tries I managed to catch it by wearing the cloak and grabbed it quickly before it even started running. Once it starts running it seems hopeless.

i removed all weapons and armor and it let me run right up and grab it
