River Raids Resources

Hey, just a quick question - is there enough resources to buy everything? Or do the resource chests respawn?

I was doing one run the other time and I was 265 / 300 resources in when I found my last chest in a camp and I wondered if I should even open it - since, during my time there, each and every chest rewarded me with 55 resources I would get over 300 therefore lose the remaining resources. And if they do not respawn and are a finite number or them around the map ..... And that's what I am trying to figure out and I cannot find any information about it anywhere, hopefully someone who knows can answer.

Your ship can only carry 300 so you will lose the rest out of that chest for the current run but you can keep spamming river raids for resources until it makes you want to throw your PC away.

You can upgrade your ship to allow you to carry more resources except it is a waste of time because it cost so many resources that it will just slow you down from farming all the resources you need to buy all the gear.

It may be worth it to upgrade the ship capacity like maybe once but to upgrade it fully would be the biggest waste of time.

Also, whoever made river raids can go to hell.

So from your reply I understand correctly that the "foreign resources" or whatever they are called are infinite? If I clear one river map completely from all the chests, will I encounter more of these chests to loot next time I enter the same map?

I am just wondering, in the normal game you loot the resources once, they will never respawn, meaning they are a finite resource, I wonder if that's the same with the "foreign resources" - so if I looted the chest while 265 / 300 or whatever, I will permanently lose those over 300 and could never get them back. If the chests respawn with more resources then it would mean I can loot whatever until my ship is full and give no ♥♥♥♥ about going over the limit, which would (at least) be great. Right now, I mind going over my max as to not lose anything but from what you've said I gather that the chests respawn indefinitely..?

don't worry about the limit. you can't lose opportunity. you can raid the river 1 million time and you will do so before you ever get enough resources for everything.

the only thing to be aware of is after raiding a river, its defenses will increase and you may have to wait some time for all camps/chests on that river to respawn. you can just pick another river and rotate through them.
