Do I need to buy the Ultimate Edition to get the DLC if I am carrying over my save from console?
I already have the game on my PS5 and was looking to pick it up on on PC to be able to play on the upcoming ROG Ally, would I also need the dlc on PC or how does all of the crossplay stuff work?

Okay, no I just have the game on PS5 currently, not on PC at all. So will most likely need the Ultimate Edition as I have all the DLC on console.

pretty much no games let you transfer your DLC over to PC, or other systems. I think Destiny was the only one that allowed that, and I think that was only from battle.net to steam. There prolly is a few others, but ye. 99% of the time you gotta buy everything again.

Yea Destiny is one of the few, the expansions don't transfer, but the seasonal content works on both.

THE EXPANSIONS did transfer at least from bnet to steam.
They did that because well, they where not owned by activision anymore. I still have all the Expansions I purchased on bnet on steam. Would be the biggest ♥♥♥♥ move if they didnt do this, since like we where forced to switch to steam due to them going independent for a bit.

I got salty when I found out ESO didnt do this either. I got morrowind expansion on the ps4 pro because my pc at the time didnt work. Then got my pc working again, and well It was the same account but lacked the expansion. Which they 100% know you own morrowind on that account already kek. But every other company does it, so why not let them :^)
