Does Uplay content transfer to Steam?
I played the game on Uplay, and I bought some of the store items, I stopped playing because I do not like having Uplay. Does anyone know if items I bought on the Uplay version will be available on the Steam version, or will I have to buy them again?

Yeah that last answer was kind of not really accurate. The steam version has all the achievements, features, etc you would expect from Steam in ADDITION to all the stuff you'd get form the Ubisoft Connect version that cmae out years ago. So the Steam version is objectively superior, aside from the fact that it requires Steam and thus 2 launchers instead of 1. It's a real pain for us true Ubisoft fans that bought the game when it came out that we are stuck with an inferior version of the game and I get to watch all my Steam friends enjoy posting screenshots in their feed, etc which I cannot do because I am a true believer and bought this way back in the day. In fact, my name comes from Tango which comes from Rainbow 6, the original. That's how long I been supporting this developer that could care less about its fans.

My bad about the aachievements. It does have the playtime, screenshots shared to feed, all that other stuff that I like about Steam games.

Streaming to devices like the Steam Link and Steam Deck. Wine/Proton integration into the Linux version. Linux/Wine/Proton improves compatibility with older Windows XP and Windows 7 only titles. The New Big Picture Mode UI, which allows gaming from the couch. The Steam Controller API supports Nintendo controllers with the correct button prompts.

That too from another thread / user. Basically the Steam version just puts the game on Steam which is great. Steam is just so wonderful, legit. Ubi Connect is not good.
