Had the same issue. I set the refresh rate to match my monitor and it stopped the crashes. Hope it helps.

I also first uninstalled my c++ 2015-2022
Installed the one from Valhalla
and also set the property in the valhalla.exe to always run as admin
So what I did?
First, you have to know that I have GeForce and in my custom settings, I set up max 60 fps for Valhalla. Yesterday I had a lot of crashes and I read that the game maybe has a problem with different fps between my monitor and the game (my monitor is 240hz but I set up 60 fps on GeForce settings).
Because of that I went to settings in the game and set up v-sync and max fps on 60.
Effect:
- GeForce settings: max 60 fps for Valhalla.
- Game settings: V-Sync on and max 60 fps.
Today I didn't have any crashes.
I don't know - maybe it's because of that settings and it will be working fine, or maybe I will get crash soon.
It looks like that's a problem with Ravensthorpe and around
I have purchased GeForce now for a month in Ultimate Edition - I was wondering if maybe that game will be working fine on another PC and I will play by cloud.
Yeah... sure. I played for around 1.5h and... crash :D
Ubisoft, great work. Next time I really think before I will buy something from you.
it seemed to have started after a geforce driver update, so i rolled back to the previous version seemed to have worked at first, yesterday zero crashes. But just now i have gotten my first crash
1. As said before cap frame rate set to 75fps.
2. In graphics settings reduce clutter to high or medium.
3 . In documents\Assassin's Creed Valhalla\ there are two cache folders delete them every time, before you launch the game.
4. Delete shader cache every time before launching the game. Its in global settings advanced in the AMD drivers. Not sure for Nvidia.
5. Disable Xbox game bar in settings for windows 10 or 11
6 Disable game mode in settings.
7. Got an overclock on your graphics card, yep remove it.
8. If you have the steam version do not launch it from steam. Load Steam first then launch it from Ubisoft connect.
Why this has so many problems I dont know. Far cry 6 which I completed was rock solid.
Good luck.
