is it only 60 hours?
So if you play only the main story it lasts 60 hours? Like it says here? https://howlongtobeat.com/game/77729 Odyssey took me 100 hours just for the main base game without the dlc. Since this is almost160gb i wonder how can it has a shorter main story than odyssey which is smaller in size?

From my understanding is they wanted to make it shorter since they felt ost didnt like how long the one before this took.. Everything is over all a little shorter imho.

Usually, for similar type of games, is your play duration close to howlongtobeat quoted duration?

On howlongtobeat Odyssey main story is 49H you did 100H, for Valhalla it will be certainly more 120H.

I didn't quoted my time for Odyssey, I have it in Ubi connect but the sum for two plays, first play to reach level 49 in fact 50 during main story last steps but finishing main story only not others main threads, and second play with some main threads finished but not main story, a DLC fully played, level close to 70 (it's slower past level 50).

I have my current time for Valhalla played at 80% + 1 DLC played + 2 free big DLC played, level 330, but without Odyssey comparison point it won't mean much.

Perhaps a language problem, but for main story, Valhalla is quite bigger than Odyssey (with side quests (Odyssey) vs with Events (Valhalla), it's probably more on par).

To assess games by how fast you can play through them is the dumbest way to assess games I've ever heard of. I have over 1000 hours in Skyrim and I'm not near finishing; I have 300 in Odyssey, and nowhere near done; play fast, miss 90% of the games' magic!
Just look at it economically: if you pay $50 for a game and finish in 50 hrs, that's a dollar an hour; but if you took your time to explore and experience all quests and tasks, etc. it might go to 200 hr, and then its twenty five cents and hour - such a deal! Play longer, pay less!

I've spent 80 hours in game and have not finished yet.

"Time to finish" estimates are usually far less than the time you can spend playing.

There you go - "playing" the game, not speed-rushing through to get to the end. For me, Valhalla is the best of all the AC games for immersion and the most alive feeling; a great place to adventure or hang out. Play the game, to me means taking the time to do everything you want to in-game, so playtime is potentially infinite. I think I'll play Skyrim and No Man's Sky until they don't run on the systems anymore; Valhalla is right up there, for me.

Steam says I have 67 hrs. I am guessing alot of that was idle and I was on my other pc.

Ubisoft is showing my profile at Total Progress 15.29% and Time Played 45h 32m. I don't know if these stats are correct or even how they calculate them.

It also shows Core 12 / 70 and Time Limited 3. Not sure what that means.

I am an average player and I do get stuck on some of the puzzles now, Playing late and tired sounds like a good excuse for that.

Your different play time higher in Steam than Ubi is rather bizarre.

i started the game this morning rowing up the river, while i enjoyed my coffee.

I have 230 hours on this game i bought it last year it feels bigger than Odyssey for me. I finished the whole map of England and Norway and collected everything in the base game but it still feel like im only halfway with all the stuff i have to do in the DLCs they have released since then.

when it says 60 hours it means for the main story if you dont do most or all side quests but in odyssey i did most of the side quests too which is why it took me 100 hours i did the same for Origins too as i ddi most side quests too!
