Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Statistiche:
All gears have the same stats?
What I meant to say is that, new gears found will have near identical stats across? I've found like 10 armors pieces (bracers, boots, hoods) that have 2~3 def differences and mostly not having slots.

I'm using the mentor of Alamut and I've upgraded it, so far most of the gears I've found are base stat of that gear set as well. Do I just have to pick the set for my playstyle and then upgrade them throughout? or there are actual gears that have higher stats?

thanks!

you have to find crafting materials like Carbon, Nickel, and Tungsten Ingots are used at the blacksmith to enhance your gear.

Leather, Iron Ore, and Titanium can be used in your inventory menu to upgrade your gear.

Fabric is used to upgrade your health pouch and max quiver amount.

https://www.ign.com/wikis/assassins-creed-valhalla/Upgrading_Gear <--- has everything you need to know about gear and states etc

okay I get it, thanks for responding
Well, to answer more specifically your question, no, items of same type don't have same base stats, at least most often if not always.

Alas from a long planning perspective and to decide what you want focus to upgrade, it's very hard to compare items stats that haven't the exact same upgrade level.

And I have no solution as I failed find any wiki/guide really complete on all items of the game including with DLC and free DLC.
armor types are not wildly different, but their use is increased in three ways: upgrades, Runes, and Set Use; same with weapon types, except you can mix and match freely.

For armors, perhaps, for weapons, some of same type can have totally different stats or totally same stats.

For example the Opal shop had two different 1H sword in a row, they had exactly same stats, and then an example of 2 daggers I have, both at exactly same upgrade level:
Hundtoth: Atk 106, Stun 131, Wgt 6, Spd 74, Crit 112
Iberian Seax: Atk 89, Stun 103, Wgt 8, Spd 84, Crit 98

Or another of example of two flails at same upgrade level:
Iron Star: Atk 115, Stun 151, Wgt 8, Spd 39, Crit 88
Spinning Death: Atk 97, Stun 117, Wgt 9, Spd 47, Crit 72

In those both cases it's like significant extra speed justify overall weaker stats, but the point remain, it's rather different stats.

You have a strange way of evaluating weapons; in the first example (Hundoth/Seax) the first weapon is 10% better. That's a terribly small difference. You aren't taking into account the variables that influence combat results.

I don't get your comment.

For first example, it's 13.5% higher speed for first example and 20.5% higher speed for second example, it's no way minor, speed is a major stat. For other stats it's reversed, ok about 10% lower for the fastest weapon, and I don't know the importance of each ok.

But then what variables matter if Stun which is unbalance ability so looks to me quite important in combat, is meaningless?

EDIT:
That said if you want quote that weapon type matter more I would tend agree, and that special properties of weapon can matter more, I agree too at least for some properties.
