My Jomsviking ARE LEVEL 3 but bored that all players Jomsviking are level 1

My Jomsviking are LEVEL 3 but bored that all players Jomsviking are level 1, Ubi please fix that crap. It makes the feature so ridiculous.

I won"'t add anything because most players only read title and rush answer before reading OP post, sigh.

my orcs in Shadows of War or my Army in M&B Warband was at least useful in combat. I don't feel the same for Jomsvikings in AC Valhalla.

Are you sure they are useless?
I mean I left my Jomsvikings against one opponent on Full HP, 4 of them got down.
It was a simple spearman. 4 v 1 fight. It was a regular Spearman at least and not a mini-boss one. They still didn't kill him, he was like 20% hp or something. But that's level 1 Jomsvikings lol

They're useless against pikeman and dual daggers soldier because they cant break their guard. Polemen and captains with the Leofrith skills as well.

This part of the game is clunky at best. Your crew can steal your kill so no xp and they tend to break attack animations of the enemies and make things a bit too chaotic for my tastes.

They dont seem to be affected by nightmare scaling. I'm level 90 and the quest display 110 for the Dee.

My Jormviking is level 4, as is most of the crew, and has been used by other players, or so I believe (the old woman near the harbor has paid me and told it has been used by others).

Just after you upgrape the Jormsviking hall you can recruit "samplers", but they're not made by other players. After that most of the vikings you'll find, be there in the hall or alone around harbours are level 1 from other players.

I think this is pretty normal, as I assume the vast majority of players dont grind to level their Jormsviking.

My main grief is their ugliness. Even for the samplers that are randomly generated and not customized by the player. It's bits and pieces of Fallen hero armor, Saint Gearoge's helmets and ridiculous purple glowing sword. I wish we were able to override their looks sometimes it looks like I'm babysitting eight tron guys from the future attacking a monastery.

I'm sure I spent almost an hour with the bell spawning a decent looking lvl 5 team

Yeah the one for the jomsvikings, there's also one I've never tried for feasts. It's unfortunate there's so little squad management, finding weapon and gear would be more fun if your whole gang could use it.

Having Level 2 and above Jomsviking serves no purpose except for the River Raids.
You will be next to the Jomsviking hall anyways. Just refresh and buy the players leveled Jomsviking.

No you didn't put care, when you ring the bell those available at the hall are refresh but if it's level of your hall and above level 1, none are player Jomsviking.

Nope... that is incorrect. You can upgrade Jomsviking Hall, ring the bell and refresh with Level 2, 3, 4 and 5. Just takes a lot of grind for the Foreign Supplies.
My crew is full with Level 3 but won't bother to upgrade them as they are semi-enough.

Level 2 costs 110 silver, Level 3 - 120, level 4 - 130 and level 5 - 150 silver.

Since Level 2 every next level gets a Ration to heal themselves.

He is talking about Player Jomsviking, not all Jomsviking, yes you can hire lvl3+ Jomsviking, but most playermade ones are level 1, i'm pretty it's because it's side content that is a little bit hidden, and most people only do the main missions

You totally can use a Jomsviking as soon as you hire them, anywhere in the game.
England, Ireland, River Raids, Asgard, Isle of Skye, France and Svartalfheim

The Jomsviking in the screenshots aren't player made

If you do river raids, be sure to find out how to end them before you start, it's not obvious. There are threads about it here.

It's really a detail I can agree as you have have non player Jomsviking at the right level, but it's about the feature of other players Jomsviking you could hire, it's like an unfinished feature.

They don't die they are just injured for one river raid and can't be used for this river raid but only next.
