Gae Bolg Spear doesn't require a drinking game, but does have something to do with The Children of Danu in wrath of the druids
The Blazing Sword is an Isu 1H sword.

To get it, you must collect 5 artifacts from 5 tombs around England. They are on the exits.
After you have collected the 5 artifacts you return to RavensThrope and where Hythan taught you the leap of faith.
You will then proceed to do some puzzles that will take some time.
At the end you will be handed The Blazing Sword.
In total it's around 4-8 hours mini campaign.
I believe this sword is from the main game and making it the only 1H sword in England.
Short swords are the 1H swords.
Great Swords are 2H swords.
Sickles and Scythes both have their different cathegory. Not sure how they show up on Skill Tree. Verica's Sickle is the best weapon imho after Thors Hammer - High Damage and the passive.

So among the 7 tombs of the fallen you only need solve 5?
4-8H? Well I don't know what's wrong with me but I spend a lot of time in one, really progress a lot in it, but was happy have a teleport out to escape.
Moreover I quote it's a Wolf weapon, not that useful, but in 1H sword before Paris I only have Raven of Wolf 1H swords no Bear. The worse is the opals shop sold two in a row but both Wolf.
Oh I might try this, looks interesting. I currently have 2handed but the skill that lets me use it as 1 handed and also a kite shield XD. I recommend the combo.
So nope just 1H swords (and 2H swords clearly) no short swords.
That's the problem, Sickle doesn't show up in skills tree.
Scythe is in skills tree with Spear but not that common, at least it is, with Wolf trees only I think.
Perhaps Sickle is in Raven trees and I didn't noticed despite I put many point in Raven tree but far more in Bear trees.
For now each time I compared stats of items with same type and upgraded at same level it was the same stats, lol. So I need check with more care? :-)
That said I agree that the special properties can make a serious difference but more from a tactical perspective.
2H swords are probably the fastest 2H so I understand it can be very special use them and still benefit of the dual plus.
But for now I'm on exploring more 1H weapons, I tried before some 2H (Axe, Sword, Scythe, Spear). It's also about extra speed and lower stamina use compared to 2H.
These are all my 1H swords and all are by category Short Swords.
The Hero one is from Francia DLC.

I hope you are not confusing Short Swords with Daggers.

They are the "original" short swords by definition, but yeah.
Daggers and Short Swords are in the original game. They also can be retrieved as Awards from Ubisoft Connect.
So among the 7 tombs of the fallen you only need solve 5?

More over yes. To be sure as I have all the DLCs and I do not believe it's from DLC when you are in RavensThorpe, there should be a green tornado when you scout with the Raven.
You shouldn't be able to miss it.
But you should stop name swords short swords because the game doesn't name them short sword, at least not in my language, that can be confusing for newbies.
I have even made you screenshots, so you are confusing the English speakers in English speaking forum.
Also what do you mean stop calling them by their name? You know that's rude, right, telling me what to do, considering that's what they are really called... Karen moves...
Sorry to not have quoted, the sword is named Hero's Sword not Hero's Short Sword, the other text was too small, but now you pinpointed I saw it.
Sorry to have hurt, it wasn't the purpose, I was just saying 1H sword and Short Sword is looking like two different type of swords and was looking ambigous, but ok it's really Short Sword the name of the type.
These are the names during Medieval ages.
European Short Sword and European Great Sword(known as Claymore and Longsword as well).
Daggers I am not sure are European thing. The Scythe and Sickle are pretty self explanatory as they were tools.
Dane Axes and Bearded Axes are well... Barbaric Axes. They belong to the Germanic People in general.
Flails are also an European thing.. tho I am not sure if they existed before 15th century.
Atgeir I am not sure where it comes from.
For example there is Yatagan for the Ottoman empire as a name for a sword.
These names are just like - Katana and Tachi are a worldwide names. They too are worldwide names or at least should be.
Thank you!
