Not sure what I did, but for me what explains OP was logical, I just don't remind why I found it logical.
I haven't killed a single guard until we left for England.
And then for any true viking the insults would make sense, yeah whine and come in I kill more.
And when the player failed roleplay as a true viking he is punished by insults, fully logical.
