I've been also using mods from nexus on every game I had played on PC and I've also made some myself if there are tools and it isn't too complicated. I'm aware of the nexus modders leaving since even my favorite Bannerlord modder also left. And I haven't seen any blood mods from any modern AC titles (Origin, Odyssey, Valhalla) and I just brought this up hoping there's one.
That makes sense
But myself I'd like more an option to avoid the boredom finishers very long sequences, such a boredom and it freeze enemies attacking you just looking at you stupidly when you take an eternity to kill an enemy, ridiculous, alas I suppose I'm in a tiny minority here.
i'm sure ubisoft want to have some realism to the effect that these are times when swords, shields, arrows and what existed, so evisceration is a common occurrence, but pure out and out blood, guts and violence and glorification of it is totally unnecessary to make the point though. i mean there are scenes from origins to valhalla where there is a lot of violence and that's fine, but you don't need to be scarred by events of seeing someones lungs and heart sliding out of their body from a heavy sword whack into their chest while they are still alive, then hearing them scream as the blood curdles in their throat as they suffocate and you watch them die from it. that's just beyond excessive.
if you want that type of visceral experience, you can find it elsewhere, but it's not really needed for these types of games. and while AC games are violent, they have never been excessively violent.
