How come there's barely any blood in this bloody Viking game?
I mean I just watched this video https://youtu.be/EGZYgR6Mrzc?t=30 and it's full of blood splatters on the ground but when I play the game there's barely anything even when I turned on the blood and gore FX. Is there anyway to bring this back on?

Oh I know that. Just watch the video I linked and try to play the game and see the difference.

I've had the game since November 2020 with Ubisoft store and finished the game several times

What I mean is there's barely any blood splatter in the game. If there is any, it disappears too fast. The video I linked is full of blood splatters and blood pools and also stays longer, makes the game more brutal.

there are reshades at nexusmods that enhance thing's like that and make them last longer and look better

Also some mods never see the light of day publicly and are shared in a very very small discord channel

Does reshades actually does that? I'm pretty sure it only improves lightings and some visuals but not actually the decals since it's a game engine thing.

there was about 20 or more mod authors at nexusmods site that left because nexusmods changed there policy on deleting and removing or locking there own mods, so a year or so ago they all left and some are on discord or afk mods and a site called modthesims or something similar to that name

Maybe the video was edited; maybe it was rendered with a superior card, maybe they used a mod, just ideas.

Some of the mod authors that left nexusmods, gave links to there discord channel in there profile there and there's a social network that has a list that tell's you where old nexusmods mods are at and where the mod author went too, some mods are only available through google drive links

Do you know some of those mod authors? I looked up the modthesims and there's no AC Valhalla content there.

I don't think you can just edit the video to add blood on the ground as smoothly as that and what's the point. Most of the modern and previous gen cards and systems can handle simple blood decals like that and the video is 2 months old before the release of the game so mods does not exist back then.

there is a big boycott of mod authors who well no longer upload to nexusmods because of there recent mod upload and sharing policy and there mods went private and or on discord

I think you might be confusing it for other games then. Cuz if a mod like this exist there must be atleast one or two youtube videos featuring/showcasing them. A simple google search of "AC Valhalla blood mod" shows only old unmodded combat gameplay videos and articles that doesn't have any blood mods.

I've explained all I could on the matter, I've been using mods for years from nexusmods, for fallout 3, New Vegas and Fallout 4 , The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Days gone
