just recently i went through Just Cause 3 and 4, okay i wasn't running windows 7 like i did with FC4 back in the day, i'm on Ubuntu these days, so i've had to deal with annoying crashes in both games, but when i'm engrossed in the gameplay and the storyline, it's quite something.
The point is that those types of games can offer at least 80 hours of gameplay and very entertaining if you let yourself go for it. So i hope your NG+ experience enhances the experience rather than find it lacking the second time out.
In second play I didn't focused on main story but arena, mercs and cultists, played Korfu free extension rather soon and adding a lot of special engravings, and then realized at level 50 starts a totally new character building this adding freshness compared to first play. In replay the first DLC triggered at end of chapter 6 and something like level 57/58 adding even more stuff compared to original as this DLC is totally merged to main game.
Also a replay allows switch Kassadra/Alexios, and I tried make many different choices.
In a way replay with NG+ would have been more logical but the point remain that past level 50 the level up is slower so NG+ isn't just like starting at level 50 a play.
And then with all extensions and cheap respec one play very long and completist is making sense too.
