Canon Gender

Hello.I’m looking forward to buy the game once its released and I was wondering,whats the canon gender?I know that the main character its Eivor and gender is only an option but whats the canon gender in your opinion?

In some situations in gameplay, even they'll I'm playing as a male, a few NPC's refer to me as a she still

In Sweden there is only one that could have a name like Eivor and its a woman or a gal.
In that case, I guess it would have been a female character or protagonist.

Near the beginning of the game the Animus will detect both male and female DNA, and so you'll be given three choices. Force the Animus to use only either the male or female DNA, in which case you'll play as that gender for the rest of the game. Or let the Animus choose, which is the canon choice. The Animus will switch between male and female as appropriate. This won't make much sense at first, but its purpose becomes clear later on.

Let the animus decide. It will be canon choice

I think just like in the previous where kassandra was so much better, in this the girl is the right choice.

it may look like its always woman, but there is some story related stuff about that, so that kinda should make sense

Kassandra was the better choice but I played this game as a male and it was OK. probably better from a story point of view.

This game allows some minor cosmetic changes for your character, such as different hairs, beards and tattoos.

No. Alexios was far superior. The entire goat scene at the start easily proves it. Cassandra was a better villain.

Her voice actor was better but Alexios was a much more fun character.

Dont know wich is better, is personal opinion, but from the game development in Valhalla and Odyssey the female character is the canon lore

For people who never played the game you not gonna miss anything by choosing one or another the differences are minimal
