Dont buy this game

Reason :
1. crash often, last time i try this in this november and the game still not stable. 5 hours game you gonna get 2-3 crash.
2. very long startup, the slowest past is checking stupid addon even you dont have any (now combine it with point 1)
3. bugs, one of bugs is you can upgrade certain farm in settlement in infinite times without any stat increased. while the interface tells you the farms already max upgraded.
4. no new game plus, no random boss generated like in AC odyssey. no replayability
5. extra launcher , the game needs you to install additional launcher
6. extra registration, the game needs you to create account different from steam account

I can confirm AC Valhalla is indeed very buggy, even now. Every single update has been plagued with new issues, not necessarily crashes but broken quests and vendors. The game itself is good, the best in the series imo.

Speaking of bugs, I would be surprised if they kept the seasonal content on rotation, which has been one of the best new AC additions but also plagued with issues. Every single seasonal event, even the repeats in year 2, were always followed up by a series of fixes because the events seemed to introduce more bugs guaranteed, so they never nailed down repeating them on an auto rotation.

The bad QA is why we are not getting a new game+ mode, because that would most likely result in no end of new bugs.

its awful I played on Ubi plus and its the most bloated open world ever. I got like 80 hours in and had to stop playing it

Never had any issue. Stop playing on toasters or keep your software up to date… I have the game on ps4 and ubi. Gonna buy it again on Steam because its worth every penny

It isnt about playing on toasters, one look at the current outstanding known issues list on their support forum will tell you this game still has many issues. Not to mention there are over 1k pages on the support forum and I personally have a video folder on my google drive of every issue I have reported recorded.

Please don't mislead people into thinking this game is perfect. It is a good game but Ubi's QA has been terrible, so bad they made reassurances after launch it would get better but it never did.

The extra launcher is so you can get free rewards, and the two free dlc's The Legend of Beowulf & The Way of the Berserker and some weapons and armor,s, they gave away free opals when season mini dlc came out the Oskoreia Festival

As for game crashes, if you use a cheat trainer, it may be the trainer causing the crashes

1. last time im cheating in game is 25 years ago and its using code from the game. never use any trainer whatsoever
2. i dont want stupid reward, i just want stable and optimized game, i buy the game, not launcher

I don't get people trying to explain away the crashes as if it is something the user is doing wrong. AC Valhalla's sorry state when it comes to stability and bugs is well documented, it is something Ubisoft admit is a problem.

the game crashes a few times a day in a 6 to 8 hour playthrough, and usually in populated areas and during raids and Alliance quests, I use aurora

Fallout 4 crashes 12 times a day or more just using console command cheats and too many nexusmods, fallout 4 is the buggiest game of all time

I just finished Valhalla - my first Assassin's Creed game...and I loved it! Yes, the crashes were annoying, especially when your in the middle of those River raids. The only thing I have to compare it to is Odyssey (which I just started) but I want more Vikings

Oh yeah, I liked the Assassin's Creed movie too (Fassbender fan)
