Extraction game?

Hey, is this an extraction game in the sense that i extract resources (loot of some type) and gain money or other stuff and i can then buy my equipment to bring into the next mission/run, losing it when i lose the run?

So i imagine i rob the place successfully and then im able to sell the robbed goods or whatever, using the money to buy an improved torch, lockpicker and maybe a distraction gadget, to be used for my next mission or as long as i manage to get that stuff back out of a mission.

Is it like that?
Or is this more like Phasmophobia but im robbing the place instead of helping the people?

So you have to steal enough stuff to reach whatever the minimum value for the contract is and either steal certain special items or find and throw away documents in the map. You do get a portion of the money you steal and you can use that to buy aesthetic items or items you can use in game. I would say it's a bit closer to Phasmophobia than other extraction games but you can't upgrade your items you buy and you can just find them scattered around the map anyways. Get a friend and try out the demo together.

As Covert Cactus perfectly summed it up, you have contracts to complete where you need to steal a certain value by looting items throughout the level, all while completing a main objective (like stealing the crown from the vault, for example). Then you need to exit.

You can keep going for multiple nights in a row to boost your earnings, but there’s a risk of losing them!
With the money you earn, you can buy items, cosmetics to customize your character, or in-game items that you can also find in the level itself!

For now, you can’t bring playable items back from your run—only money. Keep in mind that there’s a shared bag to fill to complete the contract objective, as well as a personal bag where you don’t have to share your loot with other players in your game!
