Missing Save?

So I spent about 30 hours playing, trying to get the best optimal builds, crunching the numbers just having fun, unlocking all biomes and finishing in trying to finish the game and my save is gone??

So it looks like it's gone because all your save slots appear empty?

Do you know if you are using Steam Cloud or not? It's on by default, but some people have disabled it.

Do you have any files in this directly that look like "slot1", "slot2", etc?

I'm using cloud but I also have the files the first folder. Now I tried again and it came back and I started a new game but now it's missing again

Weird. I feel like a small number of people are having the same issue, so maybe there is a bug somewhere. Do you have anything unusual about your setup - meaning, are you launching Factory Town Idle from an external shortcut instead of from Steam? Are you playing on two different computers, or using a Steam Deck, or on Mac / Linux?

It's almost like Steam Cloud is not being recognized when the game launches, so it reverts to offline mode, and looks for files in the wrong place even though Steam Cloud is enabled.

How about this: The next time the game launches, if it fails to locate your save files, can you email me your player log? My email is [e-mail] and the player.log file is here:
