Have you built as many houses as you can, and maxxed out the new biome-specific market bonuses? That should increase market throughput and also XP gain rate. Not sure if it's enough to reach lvl 50 though.
Construction costs and or ability to make the materials to build more markets is the bottleneck right now. However I have noticed when I'm constructing new buildings my ability to produce the materials, mainly wood/stone related is massively restricted by cultivation/prospecting. I can have 5 or so workers in a lumber mill using the wood provided from over 300 foresters. The in town perks only provide 400% prospect/cultivation, a bigger boost would allow me to produce more planks/bricks to pay for the ramping construction costs of the markets. Not sure if even increasing it from 400% max to say 5000% would be enough to actually utilize all the lumber mill/mason workers.
Edit : Did the numbers and 300 foresters, harvesting everything produced and I only need 13 lumber mill workers, so 1-2 buildings worth to use all the wood for planks.
E2 :In town perks give 100,000% craft speed and 25,000% harvest speed but only 400% cultivated/prospect. Definitely need to bump those 2 perks, lmao.
There is a big Issue between Building and just waiting in my Optionen.
Building new Building is stopping Trade extremly and is not giving are large benefit.
So I'm often not building at all and just letting the clock run by.
The comment from bayyard is also the Issue on my Side.
I do not have Issues creating Materials but gethering them is a big balancing issue.
Whats your town setup? My plains-town gets 131B XP/s with 726 quest-coins. How did you spend yours, what lvl are your storeupgrades, how many houses, what lvl are your market-researches....... I would appreciate tips on how I could optimze.
Either way. Some alternatives for lategame would be lovely, since the added items from yesterdays patch where for earlier stages. Even with 200B/s or more it will take ages to lvl.50. Practicly Omnistones and Magical Knowledge Tome 3 are the only items that can generate XP (61B/s and 44B/s respectively
If you want to maximize in the current 'meta' as of July '23, you need *some* combination of the following:
Mine is--
Town XP Boost: 19
Goods Consumption Boost: 12
Specialization Demand: 13
Next you need a LOT of stores, stores are currently the end game bottle neck:
I have ~270 stores per "big ticket item", which is Arcane and Bookstore. The rest are between 100-200. If I chose to max them out, that is where I could sneak in that extra 20 billion I suspect. Maybe I'll do that tonight.
Finally you need to REALLY optimize your specializations, currently I'm running 5 (I had 9 using the old bug but it felt like I was cheating, so I reverted).
To do that, first, only add more than 1 specialization if you have the store power to support it.
Secondly, ALWAYS max out your top XP getters (even if you're not specialized in them) . Omnistone, Books tier 3, Enchanted Air Crowns, Berry Cake, etc... When they are maxed out you go to the next highest, etc...
Minor Tweaks: Use your Upgrades wisely to upgrade more stores, get your research to 60+ in all cities, etc... Houses, I have 600, but honestly, they don't matter as much since you won't have the stores to over-supply.
Parbuckles reply is like 99% what I would say, we're pretty much at the same place. I just need more cultivation multipliers so I can build more stores.
You know, it's funny, I complained about this VERY early in the game saying that it was silly that Idle time is 25% growth, since, you know, we're not curing cancer here. It's actually far more expensive to play the game than to buy it.
I believe the response from the community is "I was lazy" or some such nonsense.
Honestly though Erik, you should make idle time be 100% For the planet :D
I'm at town lvl 35 and I need 40T to get to 36
I maxed out my market at around +2.6B exp/s
can't improve anything at this point..
I guess you can farm quest points with daily quests.. but that's just such a slow bad idea
Max EXP increases every day, as you increase your research, but currently I can't see anyone having much over maybe 250b/s. I'm sitting at 228. Each day I increase about 2b/s, but even that will start to curtail as upgrade costs spiral out of reach. It'll require a change in the game to get much higher.
